Here are some of the highlights from our Autumn 2010 newsletter:
Although we are really only starting to move from summer to autumn here in Hawke's Bay. Admittedly the nights and mornings are a little chilly, but the days are clear and sunny with dazzling blue skies and temperatures still hovering around 20 degrees. Ask any local and they will invariably tell you that this is their favourite time of year in the Bay - the light is so pure and the hints of autumn colours coming through in the trees and grapevines add such richness to the landscape.
Cape South heralded as a top "Kiwi kip"...

Spanning 30 pages in this highly influential magazine, the feature reveals the many attractions and experiences that New Zealand has to offer. It has a specific focus on the natural beauty and outdoor adventure that the country offers, and highlights both the "family way" and the "grown-up way" to enjoy a few days in Hawke's Bay and other regions.
With a tagline of "Be Informed. Be Inspired. Be There", the magazine is likely to prompt many Brits to visit New Zealand and already we are seeing a surge in interest for next season.
Cape South supports The Diplomatic Charity Ball
One of the highlights of the Wellington social calendar is The Diplomatic Charity Ball, presented by the Diplomatic Heads of Mission Spouses and Partners Group.
Due to be held on Friday 14 May at the Wellington Town Hall in aid of The Wellington City Mission, the ball gives guests the opportunity to savour fine food, wonderful wine, marvellous music and bid on breathtaking auction items. Destined to be another huge success, the event is already sold out.
For the first time this year, Cape South is pleased to support this event by donating a two night stay in The Homestead as one of the auction items.
